Key Of Responsibilities:
- A Big Opportunity for …Monitor and ensure workers wear proper PPE such as helmets, gloves, safety shoes, and safety vests.
- Identify unsafe acts and unsafe working conditions at the workplace.
- Prepare Risk Assessment Reports and Method Statements and recommend control measures to reduce risks.
- Conduct Safety Induction training for new workers and lead toolbox meetings.
- Provide training on emergency procedures and correct use of PPE.
- Ensure compliance with local labor laws and safety regulations.
- Maintain safety records, documents, and reports.
- Investigate accidents and near-miss incidents and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
- Coordinate with Project Managers, Engineers, contractors, and government inspectors regarding safety matters.
- Prepare emergency response plans and conduct fire drills.
Skills & Competencies:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a Bachelor’s Degree with certification in Occupational Health & Safety.
- At least 5 years of relevant working experience in safety management.
- Knowledge in Risk Assessment, Job Safety Analysis (JSA), scaffolding inspection, excavation & trench safety, PPE compliance, and heavy equipment safety.
- Good understanding of HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) standards and workplace safety laws.
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Knowledge of AutoCAD is an advantage.
- English: Conversational level.
